Seriously, I need to replace the light fixtures in my house. It's so freakin plain, and has been there since we moved in (what, like 10++ years?) and you can imagine how backward the design is as compared to the ones you see at Farreys.com.
The site offers a myriad of light fixtures, both indoor and outdoor. And if you prefer the grandest(is there such a word?) form of lighting, the chandelier, you'll find it at the site. Dad once bought a $1,000+ chandelier from the once glorious IMM. It was the centrepiece of our living room for years and was only replaced when the structure got too rusty and was BER (beyond economic repair). Every year, a week before hari raya, I'd be slaving away on the chandelier cleaning the crystal BALLS which hung from its arms. Yeah, all 30++ of it. And I'll be the one and only person staring at those balls everytime the chandelier was lit. Such great feeling of satisfaction...
Lolx.
If you're the picky type, and prefer to browse by brands, you say it, they have it. Everything is there.
In my room, I've got this white ceiling fixture, which traps beetles, and any other insect which is attracted to it. My siblings and I when we were younger, could hear the poor insects flying about trying to escape just before we sleep. It was like our bedtime song, and I still remember hearing the frantic buzz of their wings when they hit the hot fluorescent tubes. After a while, they'll get bored, and eventually die.
Sadist.
Ok so, Farreys.com! The way to go! That place is wicked!
