I happened to stumble upon Carousel while surfing for food and have heard about this particular restaurant. A friend of mine had a positive experience trying out the buffet spread and recommended to me once. Now comes the price. As the Carousel is located at Royal Plaza on Scotts, I'm thinking twice. Wait, maybe fourice or eightice.
And for the fun of it, I clicked the rates at Royal Plaza on Scotts and the prices are a definite killer! For that particular second, I thought I was looking at London Hotel or Barcelona Hotel rates. The last time I travelled to Malaysia, the Kuala Lumpur Hotel rate was RM100 a night! lolx. What a world apart!
Oh well, maybe its just that I'm a cheapskate. :P
Or perhaps, I'm looking too much at Bangkok Hotel rates.

i have heard about that place too..hmm mebe memang expensive tapi sedap nak mampus kot? cos people kip talking about it..even my gf..haha..when i have the money, mebe i'll give it a try..lol..
I've heard much about the desserts over at Carousel and will definitely be going there very soon. I've been to Family International Buffet over at Ngee Ann city. They have another outlet at Tampines Mall. Pay around $35++ I think per person. Expensive, but you get to eat oysters, crabs, sushi, ice cream, cakes, etc etc buffet style.
