Pursuit of Happiness.

If she's amazing, she won't be easy.
If she's easy, she won't be amazing.
If she's worth it, you won't give up.
If you give up, you're not worth it.

In Debt

Debt and loans. Some of the dreaded words that revolve around life. Even in death, the imam handling the funeral will ask of the attendees to resolve all debts of the deceased with a family member. It is like a noose, wrapped around the neck ready to be pulled. And for some, death is an option to escape this vicious cycle.

However hard we try to avoid it, debts and loans has become a necessity in society. The ideas of leveraging and making money work harder for you seems a viable short term solution to fulfill life's shortcomings. One need not venture far to find good examples as it is evident in the houses we stay in, the cars we drive and tuition fees.

Today, I vow not to go around actively looking for debt. In other words, giving up to worldly desires and peer pressure. Why buy a bike when you have a fully functional one? Why take a loan to go on holiday when it means paying $200 every month for the next half year? Sure, that would mean taking years saving up to buy a bigger bike or car, its just that I do not want to life my life with "Hutang keliling pinggang."

Like the Sun

Because losing her was like the sun, never to rise again.

Missing the warmth and life it brings upon Earth.

Yet days of tragedy shall pass.

For even the moon brings light upon darkness.

The Abyss that was Once Filled

Unknowingly, days turned into weeks, and weeks into months. The abyss that was once filled with joy and laughter, seemed bearable now and life moves on as if nothing had happened. No longer was there the dire need for company from friends and loved ones that helped distract the obvious sorrow that had befallen this fragile soul.

Right now, nothing would change if the primary objectives in life was set upon career and upgrading self in religion. There is nothing to live for besides self preservation, and recently it has come to realise that the desire to seek the hand of Venus to hold and lead whilst walking this path we call life is slowly fading away. Finally, life is being lived as men should, unshackled, unbounded, free of worries and consequences that comes along in a life of companionship.

Actions only affect self and decisions are made quickly. The usual scrutiny when presented with a forked road is replaced by care-free sentiments. Nothing gets in the way. It is of course, a cause for concern. For how long is this life going to continue? Will it be until eventual demise or will things change for the better (or worse) midway in life?

This void, if not filled, will add up to the statistics of the nation's rate of procreation and only prove that I, for one, is a living case study. It is important however, to be composed and not rash.

Like most men, toys are still fascinating and engaging. Although some take on much more masculine approaches that typically involve branded goods, big bikes and fast cars, happiness was found in the realm of computing.

Fun fact: The previous Pentium D 3.0GHz computer was a free gift from Starhub 5 years ago upon renewing the broadband contract. As it was a free gift, it was understandably an entry-level PC during THAT time. In 2011, it is a dinosaur. It was slow, it took 5 minutes to boot and youtube videos lag when its opened fullscreen. It came with 160GB of storage, 1GB of RAM and no graphics card. Much upgrading was done to keep it humming till mid-2011.

This time around, a computer was acquired after some intense research and what little money there is in the bank account. Honestly, this dream of building a new PC was evident since the beginning of university. And since the first week of school, research was done every other week just in case money dropped from the sky and the ability to afford a new computer becomes a reality. The habit was carried on until just recently and only God knows the extreme happiness when the day finally arrived.

So this is the new beast I bought with my hard-earned money.

Its the first time I bought a PC and specially choosing a chassis. The usual practice is to get the cheapest one and just slap the components in. The NZXT GAMMA is a real beauty and has very good cable management system in place. For more information, click here.

Ahhhhh, much happiness and inner peace has been found. Dad was as excited too and helped out with the assembly. Boy was he surprised to see stuff such as SATA3 and the gargantuan 6770. Poor man missed his bedtime as he was too engrossed! All in all, it was a nostalgic event. I remembered kpo-ing while he was busy assembling his first AMD Athlon/Duron and asking so many questions. Now the roles has been reversed. The tutor has now become the tutee.

So yeap! That rounds up this not so wordy post filled with lots of pictures. I have a fully functional PC to give away. No warranty or technical support will be given. Drop me an email/call/text if you are interested! You need to purchase a HDD and a DVD ROM drive on your own to run. I reckon those two costs about $80. More details here:
